Parents in the San Diego Unified School District were asked how they felt about their kids returning to school and the results are in.
According to the San Diego Unified School District web site, the results of the 2020/2021 attendance opinion poll were clear. Nearly 59% of respondents said they'd like to see their children back in the classroom in the fall. More than 30% like the ideas of a hybrid experience with both time in the classroom and online learning. 10% want their kids to learn online.
“LetFamiliesDecide.org simply wants to have the same option. If we can decide if our children go back to the classroom, we would like to choose whether or not they return to high school sports. Administrators have tough decisions to make, but no one is better equipped to decide what's best for my children then my family"
School districts around the state are hearing from parents. And the message is consistent. We understand the risk and we are ready to assume responsibility for their high school sports experience.
